FAQs
Compliance Engine supports incoming and outgoing transactions that are performed using Programmable Wallets. This includes EOA and MSCA wallet account types, as well as developer-controlled or user-controlled wallets.
Transaction Screening supports all blockchains supported by Programmable Wallets, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon PoS, Solana, in addition to a suite of other blockchains specific to supporting broader monitoring needs (see next FAQ to learn more about standalone screening checks).
Yes, Compliance Engine offers an API and user interface, enabling you to screen wallet addresses on an individual basis (not linked to any incoming or outgoing transaction). This allows for evaluation of specific wallet addresses, including even those on blockchains not supported by Programmable Wallets.
Travel Rule supports a specific set of tokens today (see details). Additional token support available upon request. Circle expects to expand support to all ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and SPL tokens in the first half of 2025.
Developers building with Compliance Engine will be charged per API call on a pay-as-you-grow basis, billed in monthly arrears. Pricing available upon request.

Yes, Compliance Engine supports Signing API for Arbitrum, Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon PoS, and Solana.
For additional EVM blockchains or NEAR, you can integrate the address screening API call into your workflow to perform standalone address screening checks, however, Compliance Engine is unable to guarantee that all of the blockchains specified will be supported.
