What you need to know: USDC and CCTP V2 are coming soon to Codex

USDC is coming soon to Codex, a new EVM blockchain designed for B2B stablecoin transactions.

As the world’s largest regulated1 stablecoin, USDC will be available natively on Codex to enable secure, low-cost settlement for global finance. Alongside USDC, CCTP V2 is also coming to Codex, enabling frictionless crosschain USDC transfers between Codex and supported blockchains.

Why USDC on Codex

USDC is launching on Codex to support a network designed specifically for global business payments and treasury powered by stablecoins. As an API-first, EVM-compatible blockchain, Codex is built from the ground up with stablecoin utility in mind—prioritizing speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency to support onchain financial workflows at scale.

Key Benefits of USDC and CCTP V2

  • Regulated1, fully reserved stablecoin — redeemable 1:1 for US dollars2
  • Access to institutional on/off-ramps via Circle Mint3 for eligible users
  • Fast, secure, and frictionless crosschain experiences

We’re excited to bring USDC and CCTP V2 to Codex and expand the possibilities for stablecoin payments. Feel free to reach out on Discord and engage with our team if you have any questions.

1 USDC is issued by regulated affiliates of Circle. A list of Circle’s regulatory authorizations can be found here.
