Follow these guidelines when promoting Circle in marketing communications, including advertising, articles, websites, social media, and printed promotions.

Circle Logos

The primary Circle logo has a full color icon with its wordmark set in Licorice 700. On dark backgrounds, the wordmark is white.

On colored backgrounds, the entire logo is white. Our logo can also be monochrome, Licorice 600 when sitting on white or frosting backgrounds.

Be mindful there is always plenty of contrast when choosing a logo variation.

Icon

The full color icon can be used on light or dark backgrounds, but never on a bright color, and must retain an appropriate level of contrast.

Licorice 700 icon can be used on white or light backgrounds. White icon can be used on colored or dark backgrounds.

For favicons and avatars, the icon’s container includes the minimum whitespace, equal to the thickness of its rings. In rare cases when a dark container is needed, the same rule applies.

Logo guidelines

Clearspace

The clearspace proportion is measured in x, where x = 1 gap + 1 ring. On all sides of the logo, clearspace is 2x.

Space between the icon and the workmark is 1x.

Sizing

To ensure readability the logo should never be reduced to a size smaller than displayed below. Minimum size is 120px wide for web and 1.68 inches for print.

Don’t add unnecessary embellishments like drop shadows, patterns, etc.

Don’t tilt, rotate, stretch, or distort the logo in any way

Don’t fill the logo with a gradient

Don’t invade the logo's personal space with any sort of tagline or text

Don’t combine our icon with other words to create a different meaning

Stablecoin logos

Our stablecoin logos have a full color icon with wordmarks set in Licorice 700.

In rare cases, a 1-color, monochrome versions can be used, set in Licorice 700. When monochrome, the white part of the icon is knocked out.

On dark backgrounds, the wordmarks are white.

Stablecoin logo clearspace

Clearspace is the area around the logo so it’s never crowded among other elements.

Rule of thumb: don’t put anything near the logo that is closer than 2x the space between the icon and wordmark.

Minimum size is 72 pixels height in digital applications or 1 inch/25mm in printed applications.

Jeremy Allaire

Jeremy is responsible for strategy, vision and operating execution at Circle. He brings more than two decades of experience building and leading global internet software platforms, including founder and CEO of Brightcove, technologist and entrepreneur in residence at General Catalyst, CTO of Macromedia, and co-founder and CTO of Allaire Corporation.

Elisabeth Carpenter

Elisabeth leads global Revenue and Marketing, overseeing the complete go-to-market experience, and runs global business operations, including Talent. She brings decades of experience leading companies revolutionizing industries ranging from financial services to nonprofit fundraising to media as COO of Evertrue, SVP at Brightcove, and SVP at News Corporation and BSkyB.

Nikhil Chandhok

Nikhil is responsible for developing accessible and easy-to-use products for new and existing Circle customers. He has experience developing tech-forward products and software that advanced mobile devices, streaming video, AI, and Augmented Reality at companies, including Meta, Google, YouTube, and Microsoft.

Dante Disparte

Dante brings decades of experience working on complex global financial and risk issues, and most recently served as Executive Vice President at Diem Association, spearheading engagement and communications with government and financial industry leaders around the world on the issues and opportunities presented by stablecoins and digital currency.

Jeremy Fox-Geen

Jeremy brings 25 years of experience in corporate finance and financial services, as a strategic advisor, operator and finance officer, with previously held senior leadership roles at iStar and Safehold, McKinsey, PwC and Citigroup, as CFO, management consultant and finance officer.

Heath Tarbert

Heath is responsible for driving Circle's vision and business goals forward by leading on a range of global legal and regulatory matters, corporate governance, capital markets transactions, M&A deals and negotiations with financial institutions and governments around the world.
