Pockyt Partners with Circle to Empower Global Merchants with USDC for Seamless Payments

New York, NY – December 5, 2024 – Pockyt, a leader in alternative payments infrastructure, is excited to announce its partnership with Circle, the global fintech company. This partnership enables Pockyt to integrate Circle’s USDC capabilities, empowering its merchants to leverage stablecoins as an additional option for both pay-ins and payouts.

This partnership is set to redefine possibilities for businesses by incorporating stablecoin payment processing into Pockyt’s ecosystem, providing merchants with a secure, efficient, and cost-effective solution for cross-border commerce using USDC. Through its regulated entities, Circle is the issuer of USDC, a fully-reserved, regulated digital dollar. USDC offers stability and transparency, fostering trust and encouraging businesses to adopt digital dollars to drive internet-native global commerce.

Enhancing Connectivity with the USDC Ecosystem and Circle’s Programmable Wallets

Beyond integrating USDC, Pockyt is set to harness Circle’s Programmable Wallets. This tool facilitates a “web2.5” wallet experience, bridging traditional Web2 financial systems with Web3’s decentralized capabilities. Through this integrated platform, Pockyt will enable thousands of merchants and over one million Pockyt users to seamlessly transition across Web2 and Web3, enhancing accessibility and powering borderless, digital-first commerce.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Circle to bring the power of USDC to our merchants,” said Mason, CEO of Pockyt. “This collaboration marks a major step in Pockyt’s drive for innovation, enabling businesses to leverage stablecoin technology for faster, more reliable cross-border transactions. By integrating Circle’s programmable wallets and stablecoin infrastructure, we’re not only enhancing our payment capabilities today but also laying a robust foundation for expanding digital currency applications that bridge traditional finance and Web3 in the future.”

“Integrating USDC and Programmable Wallets into Pockyt’s platform will empower merchants with easy to use tools that make global transactions move at the speed of the internet, saving time and cutting costs,” said Kash Razzaghi, Chief Business Officer at Circle. “Together with Pockyt, we are working to enable borderless, inclusive, and modern cross-border commerce.”
