Today, Circle launches Developer Bounties, a strategic initiative for developers building with USDC and Circle’s platform. Launched in partnership with DoraHacks, Circle Bounties offer structured challenges and incentives for those building innovative solutions with Circle products such as Wallets, Contracts, Paymaster, and CCTP to unlock real-world utility for USDC. The total prize pool will be 20,000 USDC, and there can be multiple winners for each bounty.
Circle Bounties is designed to
- Inspire developers to integrate Circle’s enterprise-grade stablecoins and payments infrastructure into their apps
- Provide developers in the DoraHacks ecosystem with education, incentives, and resources that enable them to scale their projects with stablecoins
- Provide Circle with valuable feedback on its products and documentation

Following this launch phase, we will be launching additional bounties throughout the year. This first round includes the following challenges and incentives:
- Build a multichain USDC payment system (Prize: 1500 USDC)
- Build an application that enables multichain USDC payments and payouts using CCTP V2.
- Enable end users to pay for gas using USDC (Prize: 1500 USDC)
- Create an application that enables users to pay network fees in USDC instead of native tokens by leveraging Circle Paymaster.
- Build a wallet with dynamic security controls (Prize: 1500 USDC)
- Leverage Wallets and the Compliance Engine feature to implement dynamic security controls for USDC transactions.
- Create a gasless experience (Prize: 1500 USDC)
- Leverage Wallets and the Gas Abstraction feature to create a fully gas sponsored user experience.
Additionally, Circle believes community input is a path to building and growing together with developers. To that end, the company is offering a fifth bounty dedicated to developer feedback:
- Enhance developer documentation and product feedback (Prize: 100 USDC)
- Provide feedback on Circle’s developer documentation and products, for Circle to address with its product and engineering teams.
Through existing developer incentives such as Grants and Credits, Circle seeks to reward builders for their hard work and innovation.
